2009 TriProfessional Conference
On Tuesday, October 27, 2009, almost 200 physicians, pharmacists and nurse
practitioners attended "Let's Open More Doors: One Vision, One Agenda." This
one-day conference brought together healthcare professionals to share best
practices, examine the challenges facing interprofessional care in Canada,
and exchange ideas on the vision they see and the role they will play going
forward. The day consisted of keynote speakers, panel discussions and
clinical care sessions, all focusing on how collaboration among these key
healthcare professions can optimize patient care.
